Happy Wednesday, moms! My daughter and I are are currently in Louisiana visiting my grammy, her GREAT grammy. This was our first plane travel without my mom or husband flying with us, so I was super nervous about handling it all solo. It was a long day — we left our house at 4 am and didn’t get to NOLA until noon, but my 20-month-old was surprisingly an excellent sport for the entire thing. (Minus one tantrum at the Atlanta airport during our layover…just keeping it real here, lol.) Although I can’t yet fathom international travel with kids… so, I’m still bowing down to you mamas who have done that. A little bit of a shorter newsletter today, so we can get back to family time <3 Xo

In the spirit of our current Louisiana travels, I’m sharing some of my Mardi Gras faves. If you want to get in on the Carnival season fun, you have about a week until the official “Fat Tuesday,” which is on March 4th this year. If nothing else, trust me when I say ORDER the beads from Amazon. I swear my daughter would play with them all day if we let her. It sounds crazy, but they’re currently a favorite toy at our house. We just make sure to keep a close eye on her when she’s playing with them.
