Mom spring uniform must-haves, the perfect wagon stroller, and more motherhood content from around the internet
Good morning, mamas!
[Trigger warning: Pregnancy loss.] I usually keep these Mom Mail intros fun and light, but this week has had me reflecting on some of the more raw, real moments of my motherhood journey. Tuesday marked three years since I experienced an ectopic pregnancy loss. For those who may not know, an ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside of the uterus—in my case, in my right fallopian tube. We found out we were pregnant a week or so before Easter in 2022. It was early days, so only my husband and I knew I was pregnant. I remember feeling so excited—though I didn’t yet realize what the cramping I felt during that Easter mass actually meant.
A few days later, I was in the emergency room in excruciating pain, learning that the pregnancy wasn’t viable. We needed to decide whether to have my fallopian tube removed or if I should take a drug that (if successful) would terminate the ectopic pregnancy before it could rupture my tube.
This past Sunday, we were back at that same church near where we used to live in New Jersey, but this time, we were with our rainbow baby, Florence.
There were so many times after that loss when I wondered if I’d ever get to be a mom. Those thoughts were all-consuming. So even now, on sleepless nights or when I’m losing my patience trying to reason with a toddler, I remember my first pregnancy experience—and it helps me appreciate every single moment with our daughter.
I’m endlessly grateful for my support system — and for all the women who shared their own experiences with me, both in person and on social media. Their openness means the world and plays a huge role in my healing — which is why I’m sharing my story.
If you’re TTC, experiencing loss, or going through fertility struggles, I see you. You are not alone. Xo

REVIEW: RadioFlyer Voya XT Stroller Wagon
Wagon season is officially here, y’all — the ultimate ride for everything from picnics and playgrounds to splash pad adventures.
Last year (pre–Mom Mail days!), I tested out this stroller wagon from Radio Flyer and fell in love with it. I have the two-seater version, but there’s a quad option if you’ve got a bigger crew.
Now that temps are finally climbing, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit some of my favorite features of this luxe little ride:
Extra-tall sides – This is the game-changer. It seriously feels like a pack-n-play on wheels, keeping your little ones safely inside the wagon while on-the-go in the seats and while standing when the wagon is parked.
Dual UPF 50+ canopies – Tons of sun coverage for both passengers, which is a must during those sunny outings.
Snack tray included – Whether it’s snacks or a full-on lunch, this tray makes on-the-go meals super easy.
Flexible seating – The seats quickly fold up if your kids want to stand and move around a bit (while still being safely contained, of course).
Folds flat – A big win for storage. It tucks away easily in a garage or closet without taking over your whole space.
If you’re in the market for a wagon, this one’s worth a look!
MOM MAIL BOOK CLUB: Pat The Bunny
We’re diving into some sensory classics this week — perfect for the tiniest book lovers.
First up, Pat The Bunny by Dorothy Kunhardt. This one’s a forever favorite and my personal go-to baby shower book gift. It’s sweet, interactive, and nostalgic in the best way. My daughter is still fully obsessed and requests it weekly during our bedtime routine (Paul and Judy really have a hold on her!). Not kidding, as I’m writing this she’s sitting next to me independently flipping through the pages.
If you’re already a Pat The Bunny fan, check out its newer companion book, Pat The Zoo. Released in 2012, it’s not quite as interactive as the original, but still offers plenty of fun textures and animal friends to explore — all designed to engage those curious little hands.
Whether you're building a first library or refreshing your toddler’s shelf, these two are sweet picks to consider.
Don’t forget that you can be gifted a copy of these books by forwarding this email to a mom friend and encouraging them to subscribe. Each time you forward a Mom Mail email, it counts as one entry.
