The best snack prep containers, gifts you'll love for mother's day, this week's toddler book club pick and more mom stuff from around the internet
Happy May, mamas!
TGIF! What a week it’s been — full of sunshine, laughter, and nonstop outdoor adventures. It’s amazing how quickly time flies when the days are this full!
But as I look ahead, the forecast is calling for quite a bit of rain here in Upstate New York. That means more time cozied up indoors, so we’re already diving into some new reads as we search for our next Mom Mail Book Club picks. Have a favorite you'd love to nominate? Just hit reply and let me know <3

REVIEW: Bentgo
My husband and I have been making a real effort to cook more at home—for our toddler and, honestly, for ourselves, too. But on those whirlwind days packed with mommy & me classes, playdates, and work calls on the go, let’s just say... until recently I was rarely running out the door with a bag of snacks and lunches.
When we do manage to meal prep, having reliable storage containers has made all the difference. We’ve been testing some Bentgo goodies, and a couple have earned a spot in our daily rotation. The Kids’ Leak-Proof Double Insulated Food Jar is by far my most used item. It’s perfect for storing a smoothie to enjoy later—I just bring my toddler's favorite straw cup to serve it in when she’s ready to drink. (She’s also sipped directly from the cup, but its quite a bit messier.) I also love using this for prepping soup, oatmeal or a yogurt parfait for my daughter, too.

The All-In-One Glass Salad Container makes my car lunches feel much more organized (and a little less sad 😅). The bento-style tray keeps the toppings and dressing separate because what’s worse than a soggy salad? It’s not insulated, so I throw one of the slim ice packs in my tote bag to keep my salads, or grain bowls, chilled.
And of course everything from the brand is so cute! I'm especially keeping my eye on the bright colors and fun prints of the lunch boxes and backpacks for when my daughter starts 2-year-old preschool in the fall. And if you prefer neutral, muted colors for yourself, (me too!), they have plenty of that vibe, as well!

MOM MAIL BOOK CLUB: Wonderful Seasons
Wonderful Seasons is my absolute favorite book to gift 1-year-olds and up — it’s a perfect-sized board book for little hands. (We actually used this book as the party favor for my daughter’s friends at her first birthday party!) Just like all of Emily Winfield Martin’s books, the illustrations are beautiful and whimsical, giving littles so much to look at and explore. Wonderful Seasons gently introduces the concept of seasons through playful imagery of seasonal fruits & veggies, clothes, animals, and more.
Don’t forget that you can be gifted a copy of this book by forwarding this email to a mom friend and encouraging them to subscribe. Each time you forward a Mom Mail email, it counts as one entry.
